This is the second time ordering for a birthday celebration and the Argentinian/Uruguay food was so fresh and delicious. The pastries and the fresh cake was so delicious Leo was amazing with such short notice. You walk into this place and you want to try everything from cookies ,pastries and sandwiches .
Went here for the first time since I moved to Jackson Heights in January. I had so much trouble choosing what I was going to have. Everything looks amazing. In the end I went with a Beef and a Spinach Empanada which I read so much about. They were both awesome. Very generous with the filling and there was no grease at all on the crust. Both were very tasteful and price was right. Empanada this good for $2 each. Can't beat it!!!! I will certainly be back for Empanadas and more.
Honestly I would of gave this place a 5 star but the service is so terrible the food is amazing!!! But it’s so inconvenient for me since I don’t speak Spanish so the girls can never communicate properly with me. Today I was left waiting on the phone for a total of 30 mins with nobody to come back and answer my questions. I would hang up then call back they I would get sent to voicemail 6 times in a row before they would pick up the phone again just to hear my question and set the phone down for whatever amount of time until I would decide to call back. This is ridiculous and I don’t understand why in AMERICA the Owners are not hiring people who speak at least a LITTLE BIT OF ENGLISH
It's ok but people that go there of age I mean dont respect noone or the rules,
Love this local bakery cafe. Empanadas. Dozens of different baked good and desserts. Breads. Good coffee. Yerba mate. Frozen pastas and empanada tops. Not Colombian. Uruguay owners. Pan Latin American flair.
